The tech industry in Germany is lagging behind. Germany’s top technology firms are bought by Apple, Google, Amazon and moving to Silicon Valley. VR First, with its vision to democratize VR/AR development is building regional clusters and supporting institutions with their efforts to get this technology further. Be it medical devices, architecture, real estate, tourism, gaming or finance. VR/AR is a technology applicable for all industries. In this speech, Germany’s industries and their potential for VR/AR will be discussed - and what Germany needs to do to become a leading technology provider.
